Plein-Air Workshop

Saturday, August 29, 2026

Plum Lake Event & Equestrian Center is pleased to welcome a private group of plein air painters for a day of painting outdoors on our property.

The artists are coming to Plum Lake for something we are fortunate to enjoy every day: beautiful Northwoods views, open spaces and, of course, the horses! Throughout the day, painters will set up around the property and capture the scenery and horses from their own unique perspectives.

This is a private painting workshop and is not open to the public, but it is a wonderful example of the many ways our grounds can be used for creative gatherings, workshops and small-group events.

The participating artists are connected with Northwoods Outdoor Artists, a group that gathers regularly throughout the summer to paint outdoors at locations around the Northwoods. Artists of all experience levels are welcome to participate in their regular Thursday painting outings.
