Hello friends,
Can you feel it? Spring is almost here! The horses are shedding their fuzzy coats, the days are stretching a little longer, and the chickens – bless their feathered hearts – are laying eggs like it’s their full-time job again. It’s that time of year when everything starts to wake up, and we’re feeling the energy buzzing here at Plum Lake Event & Equestrian Center!
A Heartfelt Thank You for an Amazing Equine Health & Wellness Faire!

First, I have to say WOW – what an incredible day we had at our Equine Health & Wellness Faire last month! The barn was filled with horse lovers, dedicated professionals, and so much valuable information. From equine acupuncture demos to the art of breeding we covered a lot of ground. Thank you to all who attended, asked great questions, and supported our vendors and presenters. These events remind me why I love what we do – bringing people and horses together to learn, grow, and thrive.

Family FunFest 2025 – It’s going to be Fun!

You know how much I love dreaming up new ways to make our Family FunFest bigger and better every year. Well, the planning has officially begun for the 2025 Family FunFest, and I can already tell you – it’s going to be a blast! We’re lining up games and bounce houses and, of course, some surprises. If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, now’s the time to reach out! We’re always looking for volunteers, sponsors, and community partners to make this event truly special. Save the date and bring a group of kids out to play for the day! Those kids could be age 3 to 99! It will be fun for all 😀

Signs of Spring – The Chickens Say So!
If there’s one surefire way to tell that spring is on the way, it’s the chickens picking up their egg-laying again. After a bit of a winter break, the girls are back at it, and we have fresh eggs available for reservation and pick-up! There’s just something about farm-fresh eggs – so much richer and tastier than anything from the store. Check our latest recipe here.
As always, I love seeing you all at the barn, whether you’re here for a lesson, an event, or just stopping by to say hello. Here’s to longer days, warmer weather, and another season of great memories ahead!
See you soon,
Debra
