More Than a Venue – A Northwoods Outdoor Playground
When you book Plum Lake, you’re not just renting a space – you’re getting 60 acres of Northwoods trails, wildlife and open sky to fold into your event. From fat tire biking and a youth zip-line to hands-on time with our horses and quiet trails for hiking or snowshoeing, there’s something here for every guest, every age, and every season.
Fat Tire Bike Trails
Our groomed trail system has a route for every rider – beginner loops for families just getting started, intermediate trails for a bit more challenge, and advanced single-track for riders who want to push themselves. Fat tire bikes handle our Northwoods terrain in every season, so the trails are ready whether it’s summer dirt or winter snowpack.
Youth Zip-Line & Pony Rides
Kids get their own Northwoods adventure with our youth zip-line and pony rides – favorites for birthday parties, family reunions, and any event where the younger guests need a little excitement of their own.
Equine Experiences
Our horses are at the heart of Plum Lake, and we love sharing them. Guests can try their hand at groundwork and grooming, join a riding activity, or simply spend time learning what it takes to care for a horse day to day. It’s a hands-on, unhurried way to connect with these animals and with the land they live on.
Groomed Trails for Every Season
Beyond the bike trails, our property is laced with groomed paths for hiking in the warmer months and snowshoeing or Nordic skiing once the snow flies. It’s an easy way to build movement and fresh air into any event, or just give guests a reason to slow down and take in the Northwoods.
Forest Bathing
For guests looking to unplug, our wooded trails are ideal for forest bathing – the simple, restorative practice of slowing down and taking in the forest with all five senses. It’s a quiet complement to a busy event day, or a draw on its own for a wellness-focused group.
